1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using the LenV application or website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all users: Students, Teachers, Parents, and School Administrators.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
LenV provides an AI-powered educational platform including:
- AI-generated MCQ assessments
- Student performance diagnostics
- Automated revision engine (Deep Mistake Book)
- Digital attendance management
- Teacher-parent communication tools
- Gamified reward system
- AI Mind Map generation
3. USER ACCOUNTS AND ROLES
- 3.1 Schools must be registered by an authorized administrator.
- 3.2 Teacher accounts are created under a registered school.
- 3.3 Student accounts are created only by teachers or administrators.
- 3.4 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- 3.5 You must notify us immediately at privacy@lenv1.tech if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- 3.6 LenV is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account due to your failure to protect credentials.
4. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Upload content that is harmful, abusive, defamatory, or obscene
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
- Use automated bots or scripts to access the Service
- Impersonate another user, teacher, or school
- Share login credentials with unauthorized individuals
- Use the platform to harass, bully, or intimidate students
- Attempt to bypass Firebase Security Rules or API authentication
- Use LenV data for commercial purposes outside of LenV
Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without notice.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 LenV owns all rights to:
- The LenV platform, code, UI design, and branding
- AI-generated test questions generated through LenV
- Mind Maps generated by the platform
- All LenV documentation, marketing materials, and content
5.2 Schools and teachers retain ownership of:
- Manually created custom content uploaded to the platform
- Attendance records and institutional data
5.3 You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any LenV content without written permission.
6. FREE TIER AND PAID SERVICES
- 6.1 Teacher Plan: Free forever. No credit card required. Full access to all teacher-facing features.
- 6.2 School/Institutional Plan: Subject to separate pricing agreed upon at onboarding.
- 6.3 LenV reserves the right to modify the features included in the free tier with 30 days advance notice.
- 6.4 No refund policy applies to paid institutional plans unless explicitly agreed in the school contract.
7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LENV MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION
- ACCURACY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT
AI-generated test questions and Mind Maps are tools to assist teachers. Teachers are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before use in a classroom setting.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, LenV shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of data due to user error or device failure, academic outcomes of students using the platform, or downtime caused by Firebase, Cloudflare, or third-party infrastructure outages.
9. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from the use of LenV shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual discussion. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
10. TERMINATION
LenV may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately for violation of these Terms, with 30 days notice for discontinuation of service, or with 30 days notice for changes to the free tier.
Upon termination, users may request export of their data within 30 days before deletion.
11. CHANGES TO TERMS
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified via in-app notification and email to school administrators at least 14 days before taking effect.
